FFCA Presents: Autarkh, Alkahest and more
Foundation for Circular Arts (FFCA) is an organisation founded by artist and cultural entrepreneur Michel Nienhuis. The foundation focusses on the artistic and business development of DIY-artists, based on a circular thinking strategy. Tonight, we celebrate 1,5 years of creation that took part during the FFCA Talent Trajectory in the form of concerts and presentations. The evening is closed off by Nienhuis’ artistic brainchild Autarkh, who will be performing their atmospheric yet uncompromising modern metal with a new lineup featuring the insanely talented drummer Jasper Barendregt (ex-Dodecahedron, ex-Our Oceans) and new bassist Max Blok (Alkaloid, Dead Eyed Creek).
About the FFCA Talent trajectory participants:
Nawoddya Ramkisoensing is an energetic rapper, singer and cultural entrepreneur who uses his endless stream of ideas to connect to others with his metal and deathcore collective A Knight Under Maria's Altar (A.K.U.M.A.) and his rap act Akuma Jin, addressing the rise of problems like self-destruction and depression. He is constantly exploring opportunities to bring his vision to fruition.
Cheyenne Reudenbach (DE) is a versatile singer, concept developer and graduate from international music education institute Metal Factory in Eindhoven, where she became the attractive centre of attention as frontwoman of atmospheric post metal band Alkahest. Joined by bassist, artistic experimentalist and co-graduate Sian Syed (a.o.) they debuted at Roadburn Festival in 2023 and will show you their latest material tonight.
Cheyenne is also joined by the simple but effective guitar textures of guitarist/composer Konstantin Richter (DE) in the doomy, atmospheric duo act House Of Gloom. They have been working on various versions of their set in the spirit of circular arts – which one will we hear tonight?
Wina Popovic is a sound designer, composer and singer with a strong communicative power. She’s been busy figuring out the balance between her modular synth-inspired soundscapes, her wispy vocals and the band setting she created around that. Her act VVina is a fusion of harsh noise, ethereal vocals and ambience, while she lyrically delves into the complexities of the human psyche.
Guitarist/composer and conceptual mastermind Martín Jaramillo (CO) and multitasking drummer/producer/composer Ramón Roest, active together in the tech-deathmetalcore band Signs Of Extinction won’t be performing tonight, but the results of their work on various projects will be on display tonight.
Join us in this evening full of artistic discovery, exciting music and adventurous collaborations!
